The Holy Land

Bucket list! I’m so excited!!! I can’t wait to start walking the ground that touched  Jesus Christ’s feet. I have waited for this day to come for years and years and I had hoped to make this pilgrimage with my mother but she lost her battle with cancer. I know that she is with me in spirit and I will be making every step with her in mind.

We booked this trip through Israel Tourism Consultants based in Los Angeles, California. I will provide a review right after we finish this pilgrimage. I will try to be as detailed as possible so hopefully it can help others plan their epic trip to the Holy Land.

If you only have just a few minutes, you can watch the second video but I suggest to watch this first video by Rick Steeves “The Best of Israel“… It starts in Jerusalem, alive with religious tradition and passion — Christian, Muslim, and Jewish. We then visit cosmopolitan Tel Aviv, with its in-love-with-life beaches; ponder the sad fortress of Masada; and join pilgrims at biblical sights around the Sea of Galilee. We’ll also pay our respects at the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, drop into an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood, and savor the local cuisine. | © 2014 (Source: Rick Steves’ Europe)

Take a Virtual Tour of Israel: Christian Tour (3:44)… In this video: visit the ancient churches and walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ through the city of Jerusalem in the first day of a tour dedicated to the Christian faith.

To see the rest of this tour, and many others, visit our Virtual Tour at   or visit the Israel Ministry of Tourism website:

This hour-long special weaves together both the Israeli and the Palestinian narratives. In Israel, we go from the venerable ramparts of Jerusalem to the vibrant modern skyline of Tel Aviv. In Palestine, we harvest olives near Hebron, visit a home in Bethlehem, and pop into a university in Ramallah. We also learn about security walls, disputed settlements, and the persistent challenges facing the region.| © 2014  (Source: Rick Steves’ Europe)
